when things get cheaper

People always say computation power is getting cheaper, but they didn't realize that although chips ARE getting cheaper, POWER is getting more expensive.
Similarly for bandwidth, although fiber makes backbone cheaper, wireless bandwidth (which is limited by spectrum of the electronic wave in the air) is getting more expensive (4.7 billion is just enough to start bidding on 700MHz radio freq band).

In general, I believe that only specific things can get cheaper in one specific place for a very limited period, due to massive exploitation of other regions of the world. Overall, all the resources will be more scarce and expensive.

Just like entropy is always growing universally, resource is always decreasing universally.
