bumbershoot 2007

The ticket is overpriced. The music is good, but not over-the-roof good, unless your favorite band happens to be playing. I really enjoyed the book reading in the literature art section. It fills in the author's view of the publishing business: how they view genre as something they hate but have to live with.
How distribution channel dictate their book promotion and even writing.

One thing I really like is an author's answer to the question:"when do you know that you are ready to write a book?"
He said it's when you sit down and just have to write it even if you know no one is going to read it.

The 1-reel movie festival was fun, especially a lesbian movie named "Membership".

Samsung mainstage sucks, they shouldn't make the stupid policy that no one can bring in a camera with interchangable lens. How about everyone can only bring in Samsung cameras. I don't understand their logic at all.

Anyway, as in any fest, one has better chance to find his own gem at the unnoticed corners than sticking with the crowd.
