Tried to bid on a $528,000 Townhouse

The price was right, for a 1270 sqr feet townhouse in Mountain View.
The location is superb. But some one thinks the same and bid even higher, so my offer was not accepted.

To me, it's both a turn-down and a relief. Although I didn't get the
house, I avoided getting in debt and all the risk of housing bubble
burst.

My plan is to wait until this bubble really burst.

Another plus side is that I learned the whole process of dealing with
realtors and mortgage brokers. So hopefully I will have a smooth ride
when the time is right for another bid.
