CSPAN2 aired it live tonight.
It was not as informative as Idaho Republican senator Larry Craig concluded.
But the fact that oil industry pocketed 100 billion this year and all the excutives are getting >10 million just from the bonus did surprise me a bit.
What surprised me more was the blunt arrogance and hypocrisy of the chairman & CEO of Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron and BP as a person. This oil industry has so much power in the country that they can feel light in this investigative hearing before the law makers. And I sure know who is backing them. A Republican senator from Taxes even directly skip and question and spend his valuable 5 min defending the oil industry and giving them kudos. The chairman of the senator committee also tried his best to surpress and sharp questions.
